Now I can't access the private sales yet, so unless I breed, the only way I can get new horses is through the auctions. Surely I'm not the only one who finds the perfect horse, but the bidding goes out of your price range, or somebody outbids you with 2 seconds left! well I've made a few tips to help you get get success in your auction bidding. - Don't bid back and forth with somebody. You're bound to go over the time, or go too high. I like to bid about 1 minute left, 45 seconds, then type in a bid about 200 higher than the current bid, and click place bid with 10 seconds to go. This works 95% of the time! By the time your computer loads and processes the bid, there'll be about 2 seconds left, and unless somebody bid higher before you, you've got yourself a new horse!
- Set a price limit. There's nothing worse that buying a horse, and then having no money to take care of it! Always leave at least 200 in your bank account after the auction, you need money to feed and pay for board!
- This is all I can think of right now....have anymore? Post here and share your advice!

Yes you loose a karma point if you bid and then go off and spend some money and your the current bidder when the auction ends and you don't have enough money. It has happend to me by mistake. - I always bid at 10 seconds then if someone else bids before me I bid again at 3 seconds and I normaly win.
- Like the first poster said..dont keep bidding over and over-the price WILL go up and proly out of your price range

Good tips guys.
I also had another one that's more in regards to selling horses. Always set a low starting price. If people like your horse, they'll keep bidding and the price will go up. I hate when I see horses that are about 5 different breeds, have no skills or training, and go up for like 3000. I got around 5000 for a horse that had full training except for trotting (I was planning on finishing her training first but I was desperate for money so I just put her up:P). I put her up for 5000. I got 50001. I definitley put her price too high, so I was lucky I got a bid. Keep in mind that she was a pegasus and had a chronos timer, but still. Everybody makes mistakes!

If you are selling, it really makes a difference if you put a good and accurate description of the horse that you are selling. When I am buying, I only look at horses who's owners have taken the trouble to do that..and I avoid the ones with a load of smileys and no real info. The GP and BLUP are two things that I would like to see in the description...if you don't know it, ask someone who can see it to look at your horse and tell you. If you are buying a horse, then that is also something that should matter to you, if it doesn't say, send an email to the seller..they are usually only too happy to tell you what you want to know^_^
